This stand is great for any party. It holds 125-150 cupcakes, and is very easy to put together. You can remove some layers should one not need them. Also a small cake can fit at the top of the stand.

I ordered this cupcake tower for my husband's 40th birthday party. The picture shows a solid scalloped edge, which I wanted - but what I received is a lacy scalloped edge. As a long time Wilton customer, I was also surprised to not see any mention of Wilton on the stand itself, the box, etc. There was absoutely no documentation regarding assembly instructions, warranty, nothing - I feel this is very non-Wilton-like, and for the price, I would have expected more. The construction is sturdy and I am sure it will be fine, but I am skeptical as to the manufacturer of this product.

I ordered this for my wedding cup cake tower. It is perfect and a great price. Easy to put together. I am not one for cheap-looking things especially at my wedding and this is perfect. I would definently recommend it to any friend that is looking for one. Only flaw I can find is that the top tier has a short rod sticking up in the middle, however, my baker will cut a small hole in the bottom of the six-inch round we are putting on top so that it fits down on it. No one will know except you that there is a small hole in the bottom of the cake. I assume the bride and groom will take it w/them anyway!

Used this for our wedding in lieu of a cake. Easy to put together and came extremely fast. Cupcakes looked good on it. My only disappointment was that the top tier is 6'' and one cannot find a 6'' cake for the top. Small cakes usually come in 8''. A bit pricey but was thankful to find something that held so many cupcakes. : )

I was a little nervous when purchasing this because it would hold all of the cupcakes for my wedding. I shouldn't have worried. I love it! I actually used it for a wedding shower too. It was very sturdy, especually for being 6 tiers tall. There was room for the cupcakes to fit height-wise. We even put a small cake on the top layer. It was very beautiful when all put together. The only thing that could possibly be an issue is that the edges are a little bit raised, but it was no big deal.

I fell in love with this at first sight! Amazon had the best price online as far as I could find. I cannot wait to put them on our wedding cake and then on display in our first place. The one with the long neck looks a little awkward by itself, but they aren't meant to be separate pieces! So happy with this purchase, if you're considering buy this, go for it!

This product is just as adorable in person as shown online. The lovebirds are the perfect size, durable shiny material, not cheap looking at all!!

These two love birds were the best cake topper I could have picked to represent the love between my husband and I. I didn't want the traditional groom and bride or monograms....this was perfect. My aunt, who also made my cake, added an extra touch by adding a cute veil and a bowtie...even cuter. Now they are a cute keepsake in our home to remember the wonderful night. I highly recommend these love birds.

I have really enjoyed listening to these CDs with words to Classical Music. Being a trained classical musician this is such a fun way to teach Classics to the younger generation. Keep it up!!!

Believe the people who say this one is not as good as the first. The whole thing just seems like rejects from the first volume. And the reasons they were rejected become clear. None of the songs on this CD, or any of the others that follow, impart the same type of info as the first CD. You can listen to this one for months and still not know the composers or the real name of the pieces. Only the first CD does that--and does it well!!

The whole family loves this CD! It's a fun way to introduce the kids to classical music.

There are just as many great sing alongs in this CD as in the first. Most of the tracks are very singable (the Brahms piece is difficult). Lots of fun and plenty of goofy lyrics.

My kids absolutely love this. They could listen to it over and over. I like it as well. A great, fun way to learn to love classical music.

Wonderful beautiful music. I bought it for "Africa" Fantasie Op. 89 but was totally pleased with both CDs. Saint-Saens like I have never heard before. Two thumbs up!!!

these cd's are very interesting. Saint saens aren't the greatest composer that existed but his music is aways very clear and elegant. Collard is a great player mainly of French music.

This is a great way of getting all of the Saint-Saens piano concertos. I have been happy with these CDs. I have not liked the 1st piano concerto, but that is not the fault of the performance. My only problem with the performance would be that the 2nd concerto's fast movements are played too slowly. The sound (recorded 1985-1987) is quite good. This two-disc EMI Classics recording includes all of Camille Saint-Saëns' numbered Piano Concertos (1-5), and also includes his shorter "Wedding Cake" and "Africa" piano concertos. I've been enjoying this two-disc set immensely, and the recording quality is excellent. Even though the piano concertos do not follow each other in sequential order (Nos. 1, 2 and 4 are on Disc 1 & Nos. 3, 5 and the rest are on Disc 2), they do make sense. There are other complete Saint-Saëns piano concertos sets on the market, but I think that for a price of less than $12 - you will be hard pressed to find any recording that gives you more bang for your buck. Enjoy!

The reviewers before this one provide excellent discussion of this set, and I would agree that it is a top-notch set of recordings and performances. We love this set, play it often, and would not part with any recording upon it. The two versions of the popular and lovable Concerto No. 2 that are compared, those of Jean-Philippe Collard (this set) and Cecile Licade, are certainly different. Collard is decidely gentler, a bit slower and more "laid-back" in common parlance. Licade's is spritelier, a bit faster and of slightly higher energy. Does this make one better than the other? Subjectively it may, but it really depends on the person listening, and both performances are technically excellent and completely satisfying. If I *had* to pick one of the No. 2s, I would pick Licade because of the higher energy, but I would sorely miss Collard - and Collard comes with 4 other splendid concertos and a handful of other delightful pieces, while the Licade is paired with two other Saint-Saens concertos (violin and cello, both superb by the way) that are available elsewhere. In any case, please do not feel that you are missing out on anything in Concerto No. 2 by purchasing one or the other - both are fine performances and beautifully recorded. None of these recordings or performances require any apologies.

This set won the 2008 Gramophone Gold Disc against some very stiff competition over the last 30 years.

Having heard many performances of the S/S concertos, both singly and in sets -- and finding something to gripe about in each of them, except perhaps the old Entremont/Ormandy readings on Sony/Columbia -- I have to say this one is far and away the best. The details are right, there aren't any klunky edits, the sense of line and balance is point-perfect. More importantly, they're thrilling. Fast, yes, but always clean and accurate and rhythmically precise, orchestra and soloist alike. I seriously could not want for a better recording of these pieces. They rock. Oh, and people seem to dislike the recorded sound, but it doesn't bother me at all. It makes me feel like I'm sitting on the bench turning Hough's pages, rather than being half way back in the hall.

Good grief, could anything be anymore uninspiring? I'm not talking about the performance so much as I am the compositions. How anyone could find something in these pieces is beyond me. Saens makes no innovative or bold advances in the work of music. The scales are generic. The interplay between piano and orchestra is cliche. Unless you know you like Saens, I do not recomend buying this album for anything.

Great music! And it came with a freebie trial CD of some other Classical CDs- like getting a free CD.

The best part of this tape is the Ann Warren segment, where she does all the beautiful, realistic-looking flowers (as opposed to the rather plain, stiff-looking flowers you see on most shop-decorated cakes . Next best is Martha demonstrating basic techniques (basket weave, leaves, etc.) with the decorating bag and tips. The remaining segments are interesting as well. The booklet is not essential. Cake recipes abound, and the Ann Warren buttercream frosting is in both her book The Cupcake Cafe Cookbook (which also has some useful tips for using and fixing this frosting), and in the February '96 issue of Martha Stewart Living. She also mentions quantities of ingredients on the tape, so you can get the recipe from it as well. However, good as it is, it is not worth over $20 used--I bought it for $5 here on Amazon. I hope it will be re-released on DVD at some point in the future.

Just Recently Purchased this dvd (Darci Decorates) I have to say , The shipping is Great , Ordered it June 2,2010, Got email confirmation saying it would be shipped by the 7th , and it was actually shipped on the 4th ,LOL, then it arrived on the 10th , So i was Very happy about that part, but it also said i could track it , and have to say the tracking sucks, Didnt update the tracking site bbut once, Now on to the review for Darci Decorates dvd, Absolutly AWESOME, Perfect , She is Creative, Funny , explains how to make the cakes the sizes of pans to uuse , has quiet a few tips and trickslol, She makes 8 cakes 2 rounds, and 6 13x9s , I am a Newbie at cake decorating , and i have learend alot from her dvd, I really Really Hope she makes more dvds, she does show you how to do some boarder technics, and how to do Roses , and her roses are Very Beautifull,I have rewatched this dvd 3 times and plan to watch about 150 more, Iam Very Thank full to Darci for Creating this dvd, Hope she does make more , i will defianltly Buy any of her Dvd's, we can only rate with stars up to 5 but i would say 10 Stars ********** Great Job Darci < THank you Sincerly Mrs Bowden You can see my newbie cakes i have done only 4 of them , on our site: [...] Thanks Again Love this DVD!!!

This is a very elemental cake decorating presentation with not much going for it. Looked like sloppy work to me. Not at all impressed.

Darci does a great job teaching basic cake decorating techniques. She covers everything from how to bake the cake, to making the perfect icing, to applying the icing, and then shows several decorated cakes. This is perfect for a beginner. Her bubbly personality only adds to the DVD.

Darcy gives tips on making a marble cake with mixes. She doesn't give instruction on scratch cakes. She gives clear instructions. The background information she gives about equipment is helpful. The video is reasonable quality.

The dvd was fine but i expected a little more indept instruction my fifteen year old a beginner baker loved it so all is not lost.

Seeing David Sutcliffe dancing with a cross dresser was worth it!! I love him, and I love Heather Graham in this movie. I'm only disappointed that I've only seen it on tv and don't own the actual movie. I've taped it off my DVR, but am going to buy it, because I love it that much. Her drunk looking for her bra after her friends wedding is priceless!

I am a Sandra Oh fan so I bought this movie because of her and Taye Diggs. It was fun to watch and I enjoyed it.

Ok, so this movie is not going to be on any great movie lists, but I still enjoyed it. Sometimes you just need a movie where you don't need to think, you just watch and have fun. I liked the plot, and all of the actors (Heather Graham, David Sutcliffe, Taye Diggs, Sandra Oh) did a great job with their roles. A great chick flick for movie night!

Director Nisha Ganatra and writer Tassie Cameron seem to have most of their experience in TV movies so this little slice of the industry is a change for them. Would that it were wholly successful because it seems as though both had a fine idea for something to say but just didn't know how to make it work. And again, blame the PR folks for making a cover for the DVD that not only seems silly, it has little to do with the story inside. Pippa McGee (Heather Graham) is a travel writer, a hedonist, and an independent woman who avoids relationships like the plague. The film starts with a goofus dash for a wedding in which she is once again a bridesmaid on the run. After the ceremony she jokes with her best friend Lulu (Sandra Oh) who is equally against long term relationships beyond a quick shag, and she also meets one Ian (David Sutcliffe - Under the Tuscan Sun, Testosterone, Happy Endings etc), a handsome if shy young man who though attracted to Pippa, sees her as dangerous territory. Pippa soon discovers that her father Malcolm McGee (Bruce Gray), a wealthy successful owner of a magazine conglomerate, is ill, has a heart attack, and though the father and daughter have had a negligible relationship, Pippa offers her help. Of course, her assignment is to be editor of 'Wedding Bells' magazine her departed mother started, and Pippa takes on the epitome of everything she loathes about relationships and marriage and tries to make a go of it. She discovers that Ian is her father's vice president and thus in charge of her new and loathed assignment. Pippa partners with the handsome magazine photographer Hemingway Jones (Taye Diggs), has a fling, and becomes close friends and partners in an attempt to change the look of the wedding magazine. There are far too many subplots to discuss, but suffice it to say that changes occur in the personalities of everyone involved and the ending, while entirely predictable, has enough humor and warmth to make a good evening out of a shaky story. Heather Graham handles her 'challengingly bad' role with great aplomb: she is a delight to watch. The remainder of the cast does their best with the lines they're given. This is a bit of fluff, aimed at the 'chick flick' devotees, but it has its moments. Grady Harp, July 06

I love "chick flicks"(as my husband calls them). This movie will not be winning any Oscars but I found it romantic, funny and entertaining. Heather Graham's character was likable and enjoyable to watch. I would recommend this movie.

The fun of creating these cakes really reels in my teens and I can see that - but the shows are chopped up into lots of soundbites that are repetitve -- and they repeat themselves a lot too - and they include a lot of pointless filler -- they just sort-of don't have anything to say a lot. (That's a sample.) They are best for people with a desire to feel like they are buddies with the people they are watching and don't mind that 10 minutes of content has been stretched to fill 30 minutes of your time. The people are nice tho and the cakes are fun.

Fantastic! I assumed it would be a cheesy plastic figure, but it's quite beautiful. It's going to be the perfect topper for our wedding pie.

I wanted a funny wedding topper that reflected our personalities but wouldn't freak out my pretty old school grandmother. This was perfect because from the front it looks like any other elegant cake topper with the secret little love pinch only seen from behind

I used this topper for my wedding cake because it had a hidden and funny surprise from behind. I do wish it had been a bit bigger, but it held up through the wedding and two parties, and still looks like new.

These are very cute, but for the price they are too small & the actual gloss doesn't smell as good as I had expected.

very very cute and perfect for a prissy little girl. they smell great and the cupcakes are the perfect little size to fit in a purse or little backpack.

I bought these to put in my daughter's stocking this year. I love how sweet and cute they are, but still give my DD 9 a grown up feel.

These lipbalms are so cute i do not dare to use them...although they have an irresistible scent!

This review is coming up under toy for some reason so I'm not sure how to fill out the rating on this; But, these initials are perfect on a wedding cake. They looked cheap when I took them out of the box. But, they looked beautiful on the wedding cake and I received a few compliments as well.

Perfect. We needed a topper that was beautiful, reasonably priced and one that could be shipped quickly. This item met all our needs. It looked lovely on the cake and photographed well. Our daughter and her new husband will enjoy it for years to come.

Not sure why it is described as a toy. But I used these Items on my wedding cake and loved them. Very simple and elegant.

These are a great snack item. I saw some people saying that they couldn't eat a single one in one sitting, but I really didn't have a problem eating a couple of them per day. Granted I enjoy most japanese food/snacks and red bean paste/jelly are no mystery to me. If you want to try something different then give these a shot, I can't guarantee you will love them as much as I did, but I can say that I wasn't alone in that feeling. I shared them with some of my other fraternity brothers and they loved them as well.

Love love love this product!! It's been years since I have been able to find Yokan, and I was surprised to see that Amazon (through the Pier Mall) sells this sort of stuff, really cool. This assortment is great for those looking to try something new or for those who already are fans that want to try different flavors. My only "con" is that I wish the squares were a little bigger. But at this price, it's perfect!!

what a rip-off. i bought the exact same item at my local japanese grocery store and it was only $4. i'm almost out and i wanted to see if i could buy them online, but every store is over-priced! youkan has always been a favorite snack for me, but paying double the price is definitely not worth it!

If I cut these into small-sized squares I can handle eating them... Almost like eating soft-gummy candy with strange flavors. I was glad I bought them just to experiment and try something new.

These are very delicious yummy jelly cakes. I remember enjoying them as a child. My korean mother would give us kids something really similar and they bring back really good memories. They might be a little strange to someone who isn't used to the consistancy, but its worth trying. They're all pretty sweet and nice to nibble one. I usually just have half of a bar at a time, unless I'm hungry
