The cake topper was great, although, even though I ordered it expedited, I still did not get it on time. The vendor gave a partial shipping refund, which was fine with me.

I got this cake topper to make a cake for my 9 year old son. He is an Indiana Jones fan and wanted an Indiana Jones cake. The local stores did not have anything he liked when we accidentally discovered this. Since we were having a small party, I thought this would be perfect for my son and I would save money by making my own cake. I used it on a 13 X 9 cake and I dyed the frosting brown to match. It looked nice and he really liked it. It fit fine on the 13 X 9 cake, but with just enough room to write. It would not fit anything smaller, however. Now he uses the cake topper as a toy!

i bought these to decorate my son's birthday cake with , i was a little afraid they wouldn't make in time since i waited so close to time to order(maybe a week tops) but not a problem they got here on time and my son still has them and they even through in a few extra treats which was very nice.

I would absoultly recomend them to and for anything to complete your birthday party for your lil!!! I'm doing spongebob for my child's theme this year!! I know that his cake this year is goiong to be amazing especially with the adorable cake toppers!!!

I decorate my sons' birthday cakes every year with a different theme. This year was SpongeBob, of course. These little wacky launchers were a great topper and then had extra fun because they were a toy for later use. They've been washed several times and nothing is cracking or fading, etc. Cute and Enjoyable!

We ended up not needing these for a cake-topper but I gave them to my birthday girl as an extra present. She really likes them and has lots of fun with them. They seem to be pretty sturdy - nothing has broken yet!

I've never decorated a cake with icing colors and tips before, but this kit was easy to use and my cake looked pretty professional when I was done. However, if you're trying to make red icing you better stock up on more coloring than this. I made 3 cups of buttercream icing and it took the entire jar of gel plus another bottle and a half of liquid food coloring until it was the right color.

I am new to cupcakes and decorative techniques and found this kit very easy to use! I've uploaded a photo of my first batch. Here's the breakdown: COLORS - Red, Yellow, Blue and Green Okay, they really mean it when they say use a very small amount. These are super intense colors. I grabbed a small amount of the red because I wanted to create a pink frosting but it turned really red! Trust me - just dip a toothpick into the coloring and swirl. Don't pick up a piece of the coloring. These are concentrated colors. Much easier to add color than to add more frosting. Also note, these gel based colors are better than liquid food coloring as the liquid version can alter the consistency of your frosting. TIPS - 5 tips included (See photos for macro shot) 3: small round tip for writing 32: large star 10: for petals 352: leaves 16: small star COUPLERS - 2 These handy tools make it easier to change the tips while using the same bags of frosting. Instructions are simple to follow PIPING BAGS - 12 12 inch disposable plastic bags Thank goodness they are disposable. They become quite a sticky mess afterwards. FLOWER NAIL - 1 Some extra tips: Don't buy cream cheese frosting like I did! Hard to work with and it tends to "melt" or settle. Decorate after cupcakes have cooled down. Make sure you have a large area to work on. Don't overfill the piping bag. These 12 inch bags are not very large and it will get very messy if the frosting gets to the opening of the bag. They also say you have more control the less frosting there is in the bag. Bake on a Friday or Saturday so you can share your experiments with friends and family. :] And have a camera handy to capture your progress! enjoy!

This is a great kit. I'm not a huge baker, but when I do bake I like to make things look nice. This kit has enough tips to allow you to make all kinds of shapes, most of which I'm not artsy enough to actually pull off. The disposable pastry bags are nice, but I do wish they were a little bit bigger. All in all, you can't beat it for this price.

I bought this to make my own 'cupcake' bath bombs, and it works great! Very realistic looking! Anyone wanting to make cupcake bath bombs will find this kit very handy!

I am a beginner at cake decorating and was overwhelmed with all the equipment and instructions I found at various craft stores while trying to purchase Wilton products. The Wilton 25 piece basic cake decorating set is perfect for the beginner interested in getting started. The set comes with the needed basic equipment, and is cheaper than if you were to buy all the pieces individually. The instruction book gives helps you to pinpoint mistakes. I found it easy to use despite the fact that I've had no formal instruction or class on decorating.

i just got finished using these to decorate my daughter's birthday cake - I used them to line a HUGE cupcake cake and it looks so cute! I didn't have enough to add them to our goody bags - but figure i can decorate the table w/ them for people (aka Kiddos) to take if they want. They arrived super fast too.

Gave these to the other children for my daughters 2 year old Party. Kids liked them. If your kid puts things in mouth alot than I recommend waiting till older to give this out because the ring holder looks like it could snap easy. Served its purpose well.

These cupcake rings would work well on the tops of full-sized cupcakes, but I chose to use them around the outside edge of a round Wubbzy cake. The circular ring on the back inserted perfectly between the cake layers to anchor the rings in place. I image it wouldn't work as well on a single-layer rectangular cake, though. The kids loved the addition of a "party favor" on the cake itself. There was no squabbling over who got the candles or certain decorations on the cake itself, as each slice of the cake had its own Wubbzy ring on the outside edge. Overall, a cute and fun little product with an admirably low price!

I ordered these for my sons first birthday party. Elmo was the theme. We made an elmo cake and elmo cupcakes. These made the cupcakes look fantastic. We did butter cream frosting and mixed in the colored iceing to give it the colors we were looking for. Very reasonbly priced and shipping was fast. Thank you! Your very happy customer:)

The Mickey Mouse Do it yourself kit was wonderful. I will not buy anything from Amazon.com or the seller of the kit EVER AGAIN! I got charged for expedited shipping and did not ask for it to be expedited to me and then it took about 7 days for me to receive it. They where really on top of things. Huh?

The decorating tips are plastic, which might not be bad, but metal tips create more sharply defined lines. I returned it not because of a product defect but because the box arrived crushed and couldn't be given as a gift.

The cupcake kit includes colorful, decorative cupcake papers for regular-size and mini cupcakes. It also includes a decorating bag with coupler and four different tips, and a small cookbook with a handful of recipes. No, it isn't a huge amount of stuff, but remember, this is aimed at a very specific audience--folks who want to do a bit of simple decorating and don't want to buy big sets of tips and tons of paste colors. It'll serve you well as a quick beginner intro (making it also a great gift), a quick fix if you need to make a few dozen cupcakes and don't have the equipment to do it, or a great way to learn how to make a few pretty cupcakes if you already know you can't or don't want to do the really fancy stuff! The recipe booklet is pretty, with nice layout and photos, and includes both the basics (yellow and chocolate cupcake batters, cream cheese and chocolate frostings) and some nifty diversions. Personally I like the "hummingbird swirls," which have fruit and nuts in them, and are topped with a lovely ivory-colored cream cheese frosting. (This is the first time I've seen a cream cheese frosting that called for both cream cheese and butter, and it's really good!) Simple decorating ideas range from swirls of frosting piped from a star tip, to easy spiderweb designs, jelly bean "eggs" in a nest of coconut shavings, chocolate shavings, glazed lemon peel, and a few other easy-to-implement and delicious decorations. This is a beautiful kit, I love the presentation, the overall design is so beautiful, the only thing is that the book is too short it has very few recipes, and doesnt have that many pics, but as a whole it's a beautiful and useful thing. Got it for my girlfriend because she loves baking cupcakes. So, recommended. specially for the liners and tools.

I bought this product for my granddaughter and her mother as a fun activity they both can do in the kitchen. It is wonderful and gave opportunities to make fun cupcakes in all sizes with several types of decorating.

My daughter loved this. She recieved this for her birthday, and at her slumber party her and her friends had to make some cupcakes just to try it out.

This was THE big deal present that my six-year-old daughter wanted from Santa for Christmas. She was very excited to use it and had a blast decorating the cupcakes that she had her daddy make for her (she is an ARTIST, not a common baker). She hasn't used all of the tools yet, but hasn't had a problem using the ones she's tried so far. She also enjoyed following the included directions on how to make her own icing colors so that she could artfully paint each cupcake canvas. My birthday is just a week after Christmas, so she had to make me some beautifully decorated birthday cupcakes. She and her daddy worked on them together, and she was so incredibly proud when she presented them to me. If you know a child who enjoys arts and crafts, this is a fun kit to play with. Plus, it is a good activity for a parent and child to collaborate on.
