The design of this pan does the trick, all the brownies have nice crusty edges. But, the pan is loo large for the pre-packaged brownie mixes I have bought. You almost have to use two packages, which makes almost too much for the pan. I don't use the pan that often because of this size problem.

This product is made with a very thick and sturdy material. I love the way that it bakes brownies and cornbread. However, I did have to shorten the amount of time that I left it in the oven. It appears that the design of the pan tends to shorten the recommended baking time that comes with standard recipes. But once I adjusted to that, it was great to use and easy to clean.

Great pan. Makes wonderful brownies but do follow the directions and adjust cooking time. I always prefer the edges and this pan is wonderful for casseroles too.

I don't know who would knock this pan other than on the fact it's so expensive, but it will last a lifetime so it's worth it. This pan is great. Heavy duty, easy to clean, doesn't stick, comes with a great little spatula/server, cooks brownies in half the time (in my case 20-25 minutes) and produces wonderful brownies unlike any other pan. At first I thought I would have difficulty spreading the batter, but this has now become a simple, quick task since I have become used to it. I just use a smaller spatula and spoon it in and give it a quick drag through to level. I have had success with the Hershey's brownie mixes/Betty Crocker, but the included homemade recipe was excellent as well. I agree the only downside is that you will make (and thus consume) more brownies when owning this pan! Can't say enough great things about it.

I saw all the positive reviews of this item and thought I would add my own. For over a year now it has produced consistent results. My family loves brownie edges and this produces wonderfully. Thumbs up from me.

ideally it would be nice the bottom and tops were not on the same pan, but after reading reviews i cooked the bottom in the middle of the oven and the top on the side and it came out well. sprayed it with baking pam and it didn't stick at all.

i love this pan. it's well made and i love that's it's non stick. i totally agree with some of the other reviewers when they say you'll need to practice a few times to get it just right. my first cake was cute but unimpressive. i didn't ice it or level it properly so it was a little lopsided. plus, the top was overcooked since it bakes so much faster than the bottom because it's shallow (this can be easily remedied by starting the bottom first then the top a little later). i now pour melted chocolate in the bottom pan to make the "paper wrapper." i distribute it evenly and then leave in the fridge to harden. it looks really nice in the finished product and makes a world of difference. it's extra work but worth it.

This is a good product. It is well made, and it actually DOES come with directions - not sure what those other folks received. However, if you don't anticipate at least a 4 hour cake project, do not buy this product. The bake time alone is 70 minutes, but the finished product was DELISH! The recipe that is included: chocolate chip pound cake, is absolutely decadent, but it is a 'from scratch' recipe and so took a bit more time. For the decorating part, you MUST have decorator tips/bags or a Wilton decorator gun. I used both and the gun fared much better with smoother control. TIP: if using canned icing, slightly chill before using otherwise it will fall right off of the cake. I topped with jumbo confetti sprinkles to cover the oops spots (I'm sure it will get easier with practice) and it turned out really cute. Everyone was really impressed! I can see how a boxed mix would be too soft and so toughening up with use of dry pudding mix or an extra egg as one review suggested would be in order.

I must say I was very excited to use this product after receiving it as a gift for Christmas. Every time that I've used it the cupcake has not come out of the pan no matter what I used to grease it or how much I greased it. And every single time I've attempted to assemble the blasted thing it would fall apart. Not to mention the cupcake wouldn't cook evenly and the lack of directions included with the pan. I've moved the pan to the attic until I can purchase some large cupcake wrappers. At least that might solve half of the problem.

This pan is awesome! I do a lot of baking there is NO FLEX with this pan! Even heat; I have tried cookies, foccacia, biscuits, and even heated rolls. I have not been disappointed!

I purchased this sheet pan along with a CIA cooling rack. The combination is used for cooking bacon in the oven. The stove top will never see bacon spatters again. I can cook bacon to any desired doneness, and cleanup is a breeze.

The best pan I have ever purchased. The pan stays flat and does not warp during baking. Great Pan!

I just received the two Nordic Ware half-sheet pans I had ordered. Each came with a dimple in the bottom (fixed with a hammer & punch), and the one with the larger dimple also had several sharp burrs on the underside (fixed with a file). Examination of the plastic wrapping suggests that the problem occurred before they were wrapped at Nordic Ware. Otherwise, they are flat and square and fit my Silpats so they should make good baking pans.

After looking for sheet pans that would not rust, I read an article in a magazine recommending Nordic Ware. I checked the sites listed in the article to purchase it, then I looked for it at Amazon. Amazon had the best prices and I got free shipping. It is heavy duty and made of aluminum as some of my other bakeware is, and I'm sure it will last a long time.

Really cute ideas in this book for kids. My grandchildren will enjoy these cakes for years to come. Ideas are simple and come out great.

I have wanted to purchase this book since I first saw the castle cake in Family Fun magazine. I especially like not having to purchase special cake pans, which take up alot of room. For my niece's 5th birthday I added a Ariel doll to the Aquarium Cake and voila! it was now an unofficial Undersea Little Mermaid cake.

It wasnt what I expected at all, it had hardly any cakes Ideas. It was kinda like fast food pictures you never get what it looks like yoru going to.

ordered 4 more copies for our daughters and daughters-in-law to use at their homes...many easy recipes that are sure to be family pleasing !

This book is full of great ideas for kid birthdays. I am a novice cake decorator and these recipes made it very easy to create a homemade cake that looks great. My 3 year old loved the racetrack cake. I highly recommend this book for beginners like me.

Of particular interest in this book is the non-toxic way to unclog drains. This is a "green" book with counless ways offered for cleaning around the house and yard, as well as doing your laundry without using harmful chemicals (earth friendly, kid friendly). Every household should have a copy of this book!!

You could not imagine all the helpful things vinegar can be used for. Go check it out, order the book. Totally AWESOME!

I bought this book for the purpose of making home-made(safer than store-bought) cleansers. Most of her cleaning recipes call for ammonia-which is not good for your health. It talks about how to make different vinegars, which is acceptable although I don't think I would make my own. But I do not understand why she included food recipes that call for some(2-3tbs) vinegar.(Sloppy Joes, BBQ hamburger,etc) There are plenty other cookbooks for these types of recipes.

No tournament mode. The competion consists of whomever you invite over to play. No CPU competitions. Straight up golf, like if you went out by yourself. The gameplay is average but why play this game when you can play another average game with much more options. Really bummed me out being that I have an addiction to virtual golf games.
