I ordered this product to prepare desserts for an 80th birthday party. The package came with the box opened in the mailing envelope so I immediately checked all contents upon receiving the item and there are only 11 removable bottom for a 12 count pan. I checked all packaging material over many times but the missing bottom did not come with the product. The packaging receipt says to contact them if any problem but the only contact information is a defunct web page. I have sent an email via Amazon (as that is the only way to contact the seller) and am currently awaiting response. Will upgrade my rating if I get some type of acceptable response. UPDATE: I did get a quick response from the company regarding the missing removable disc and I recevied in within a few days. I have not had a chance to use the product yet but have upgraded my review to reflect the excellent customer service.

This is and excellent option if you want to save time in a party serving a individual dessert portion without expending time cutting a whole one.

Norpro has a Mini (Individual).. cheesecake pan, which is great for large gatherings.. serves 12! * it is simple to use and cleans up quickly! * With added toppings,you can make a gormet cheesecake ?

Good enuf for any gourmet's kitchen -- exactly as described, and delivered QUICKLY. Alas, I had in mind something quite different & am totally at fault for not realizing MINI means REALLY "mini"! Thought my cheesecakes would be 1.5 to 2x the size the pans actually make, and could have bought equally good pans at 1/2 of the price in any well-equipped store in town! These pans are very expensive for less-than-professional cookstaff -- If you "just" want mini cupcake/cheesecake pans, my suggestion: just go to your nearest mall!

Hi, I surfed the web for weeks before I ended up ordering this pan. It was the best decision! I brought the cheesecake to work and nobody knew it was the first try! Everyone loved it and it's easy to serve. The pan is nonstick so it's much better than the Chicago Metallic pan that sticks. The removable bottoms really help, and you can just push up and the cheesecake would come out so easily. Just be a bit careful when you remove the cheesecake from the bottoms, since the crust might stick to it. I would recommend that you shuffle the pan on a towel (up & down) a little bit after you pour in the batter so the cheesecake batter will settle and you'll clear any air bubbles in the cake. I forgot to do that the first time and my cheesecake came out a bit airy. I wouldn't order anything less than 2 pans. The cheesecake goes fast so 12 won't do it. I ordered 2 and that wasn't even enough. The handles are very helpful and sturdy. Great pan over all!

With all the jokes about fruit cakes, I must be in the lonely minority in liking a good, moist fruit cake. This one fit the bill perfectly - moist, lots of large nut pieces and excellent fruit. I wish I could find one as good at a local market to save the shipping costs.

I received one of these in the mail last Christmas, and it looked so delightful and inviting after the package opened that I immediately began to wonder who I would send it to. I decided to send it to my mother, whom I knew would appreciate this delectable looking delicacy and would find someone else to send it to who would really appreciate it. Well apparently she didn't reveal where she got it from when she sent it to my brother, and I received the same fruitcake from him two weeks later. Nuts! But it still looked delicious, and what the heck, I thought, I'll just send it to someone else next year. I just took it out of the freezer to send it to my aunt and it looks just as tasty as it did when I received it last year. Then I got two more in the mail, so check the "new & used" section here because I had two in there under the "used" section. (They're obviously still in "good" condition.) You might save a couple of dollars off of the retail. They look wonderful and would make a nice gift.

this fruit cake is what you pay for. too many raisens and no flavor worth buying again. I would not buy this ever again.

That's what everyone says when they see fruit cakes but these fruit cakes are different! They are light-battered and moist with just the right amount of nuts to fruit ratio. The nuts are not tiny so you miss them; nope, they are larger so you bite into them and your mouth knows that you have just bitten into a crunchy nut!! Oh shoot!! Mine are long gone and now I've made myself hungry for them again!!

I live in central Georgia, and Claxton fruitcakes have been a Christmas tradition. When my daughter was young, they were always "Jesus' birthday cake," eaten for breakfast on Christmas morning. She is now living in San Jose, CA, and she called me this morning to ask that I bring one with me when I fly out next week. Claxton fruitcakes really are GOOD. They don't have the icky citron pieces... just the good cherries and pineapple bits, along with nuts and dense, sweet cake. The flavor and texture is a perfect blend. And the best part is, they sell for $2.99 at the local grocery stores. If you know anyone in the southeast, ask them to mail you a couple of these instead of paying these high online prices.

THIS IS THE BEST, SIZE, PRICE AND CONTENT. I'LL REORDER MORE. THANK YOU.

I really like the book and am anxious to try the recipes. The only disapointment I have is that I bought 2 of Kristen Suzanne's books (Easy Raw Soups and Easy Raw Desserts)and found that Chapter 1 (constituting 1/3 of the book) is identical in each book. Most people who are interested in raw foods would likely to buy both book and would expect more recipes rather than identical text.

Book does not contain any photos at all, there isn't even a guide inside or anything. Not recommended!

Just got this book, recently--So far, so delicious! The Raspberry "Cheesecake" is AWESOME. Great for impressing friends(both vegan, and non). Mine could not tell that the base for the cheesecake was cashews. Is was just so smooth and creamy! Can't wait to make the other yummy sounding recipes!

I love these recipes!!! So far I have enjoyed the chocolate cheesecake and chocolate almond ice cream the most. These desserts actually taste like the raw creations you buy at Cafe Gratitude etc... This cookbook is a must have for anyone wanting to impress friends and family with healthy, delicious desserts.

Why is it that the majority of the reviews on every book Kristen Suzanne has written seem like they are written by the same person (s) and most have not reviewed much else on amazon except Kristen Suzanne books? Coincidence? I think not.

I was very disappointed with this book, especially with the chocolate toffee recipe. The recipe directs you to cook the ingredients to 360 degrees, I new better than to cook it that long but I still followed the directions, and ended up with very burnt flavored candy

This is a must for your Marcel Desaulniers collection. You will love the directions that you are taken on your holiday sliegh ride through this wonderful cookbook.

This chocolate cookbook promises beautiful chocolate creations that actually come out looking like the photos---even if you're an amateur like me! Highly recommended~ I have to get his other cookbooks next!

I had requested Death by Chocolate for mothers day and was surprised to also receive I'm Dreaming of a Chocolate Christmas. I'm finding I use Chocolate Christmas even more then the requested book. Many of the recipes are very straight forward. I never have to hunt down an out of the ordinary ingredient. The results are always fantastic. I'm finding I make these when I'm truly trying to impress. The end results are always decedent, and extravagant. Great way to knock peoples socks off. The recipes also seem to allow for creativity to give it your own flair. I highly recommend this book.

One of my favorite cookbook authors has done it again. Whether a cookbook on chocolate or desserts or salads, one can count on Marcel to provide for the home chef a cookbook that provides exciting, creative fare with the home chef's capabilities and equipment in mind. He does extensive testing for this and one can easily appreciate this when attempting his recipes. His usual superb color photos, recipe writeups, Chef's Touch tips are all here as well. What an over the top collection of Christmas Chocolate fare with this! I'm in love with Karen's Chocolate Peppermint Bourbon Walnut Fudge! It's over the top. Then there's the daring but not that hard to do (go to Lowes or Home Depot and get the PVC, they'll even cut it if you ask) and do "Refuge of Chocolate Pistachio Mousse." It looks much harder than it is to pull off! Texture and presentation are simply outstanding and who doesn't like pistachios with chocolate? Hard to stop raving about this recipe collection, with the likes of such as "Chocolate Strawberry Hazelnut Brownie Bars" or "Chocolate Chip Pecan Rum Tart", "Mrs. Lenhardt's Chocolate Almond Toffee" or "Cranberry Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Ice Cream Terrine." These are unusual, eccentric chocolate based goodies that taste as wonderful as they sound and they look spectacular. Great insight to be included a section showing which recipes are great for shipping, for giving, for stay-at-home desserts, as well as packaging suggests. There also is his usual ingredient, technique and equipment addendum which is excellent. This is a must for the serious Christmas cook, baker, giver, entertainer. Use it, give it, and you'll end up likely where I am, with Marcel at the upper top of your favorite cookbook producer, always waiting anxiously for his next offering.

I bought this book a couple years ago at a book fair. I love recipe books, but find that once I buy it I only use one or two recipes. This is the first book where we have tried a dozen or more. Every year we find another one to try and they always come out fabulous. I highly recommend it.
