I read about a little tip for keeping this together! Use 2" binder clips to hold it all together. I know that you should not have to, but from what I have read, it works! I am going to order one because I want pretty sides. Hope this works!

The pieces keep falling out. I have tried many things to keep the pieces in place long enough to do a quick pattern on my cake but nothing worked. This is a waste of time and money.

I purchased these thinking they would make lovely sides on my cakes. I have been making cakes for about 5 years and can't stand these things. They don't work correctly or if you are getting it to work they want to slip in the holder causing a mess in the icing. It is not worth the $$

The pieces do fall out, and you have to use a LOT of icing. I still haven't been able to get it to work right... I don't know what the trick is, but this is not as easy as it looks. If anyone has any tips, I'd appreciate it!

I was very disappointed with this product. when it said it included an instruction book I though it would show you what pieces to but together to create the different designs but it don't it's a guessing game. Also the pieces fall out of the handle when using it or slide back into the handle. If I could return it I would. Not worth the money I spent on it.

Used this for a baby shower-excellent and easy to use and store. Foods and fruits look grt on tiers! Guests were impressed and so was i-bought 2 of them!

This cupcake tower was great...I needed two for my daughters 1st birthday and these came in handy. I couldnt find any cupcake holders under $40 and I purchased two of these and chose 1 day shipping for only $3.99 with Amazon Prime and they cam by 12:00pm the next day...These were sturdy, beautiful and I will be using them at every party I host!

I bought this to display mini desserts at my school auction. I thought it was a little smaller than it looked online, but it fitted all my desserts. I layered the desserts so that each tier held a different dessert and placed fresh roses in between the desserts. It looked so pretty - I wasn't expecting the tier to look this good because it is not glass, but it worked really well. It was easy to transport too because all the tiers pull apart - something I didn't know when I looked at this online. So it was easy to push all the tiers together when I was ready to set up my display, and it is easy to store since it stacks neatly into itself once it is disassembled. This also means you can choose to have 2, 3 or 4 tiers. Also the tiers were very sturdy, unlike some tiers that topple easily, this one is quite rigid. I'm loving the tier tower and I know I will use this regularly.

Great for parties. I give it to my customers a few days before delivering their cupcake orders and they decorate it however they want with ribbon. Since it is durable plastic, all the tape comes right off. Good purchase for my business.

Great, functional and space saving. Makes a great centerpiece for parties, cupcakes don't slide off at all, plenty of space between shelves for decorations, stacks nicely for easy storage.

honestly , i have not tried it yet, but concidering how long and hard i looked in stores and checked prices, this is a good deal.. seems very usefull for decorating in a professional way.. im about to try fondant for the first time and i can see this being very helpful in making it look pretty. giving me lines to pipe and follow.. how bad can it be??? priced right for the amount you get.. would of given 5 stars but not used it yet.

I am just a beginner and love this item. I baked a cake using the Press Set and everyone thought I purchased the cake. Great item to buy for new beginners. I recommend it highly.

Thises are nice to have at Halloween, but they are a little hard. So if you have sensitive teeth, bypass this one.

This is a must-have if you are working with fondant. SO much better than using a regular wooden roller. Worth every penny!

I bought one of these & can't do without it! It's so much better than a wooden pin, especially if working with Fondant!

The Wilton Pirate Cupcake Stand Kit is absolutely adorable! It was neatly packaged and will be a great addition to my son's pirate birthday party. The USPS delivery was exceptional too. I received the package within less than 2 days. Very happy customer.

I really do love this book. It is an excellent source for some beautiful cake designs and has very clear instructions and photos. It is one of the best "summaries" of basic cake decorating that I have found. In fact, I lost this book and had to order it again!

This book helped quite a bit in my cake decorating class- to the point where I probably could have learned all I needed from the book and skipped paying the $500 for the class. I even got a job as a cake decorator, so this book has definitely improved my skill to the point where I can make money off of what was once a hobby. This book is good to show you basic skills- there are flowers, basic borders, and basic fondant instructions. It's good for starting out, and getting a feel for cake decorating before trying more advanced cakes such as tiered or completely fondant cakes. Note: You'll need THICK frosting for the flowers in this book. Follow the Wilton recipe, and you should be fine. There are also some very good ideas for cakes in this book. Not only the cake on the front cover, I showed an idea to a woman getting married from inside the book and she wanted it for her wedding (yes, that good.) I would highly recommend getting this book if you want a good overall idea of how to start decorating cakes. But remember- always make sure your cakes are level, and ALWAYS get a good smoother comb. The book may say to use a spatula, but... it's so much easier to use a smoother.

Received this book today. Have been learning cake decorating and wanted to see some ideas on wedding cakes. This book is from the 80's and some of the styles seem outdated, but I still feel the book offers some excellent ideas and if you put them along with your imagination and sprinkle in a bit of modernism I think you can create some fantastic cakes using this book as a guide. Old school but with interest. I felt it was worth the money I spent on it.

I give this book one star. The description is deceiving. It does have the ideas on the first few pages but is really a catalog of every Wilton supply imaginable. Why pay for a catalog?

128 pages of recipes, pictures and instructions ...then another 100+ pages are of Wilton products...So basically it's half instructional/cookbook and half catalog....what a waste of 1/2 my money..........

This book is great!! As a beginner cake decorator I found this to be a great resource. Many colorful pages and ideas for any occasion.

The 2009 Wilton Yearbook is a great source of ideas for all levels of bakers making cakes for every possible occasion. Wilton publishes a yearbook every year with new ideas to keep up with the most popular characters, celebration themes and new products. For example, there is a special 20 page section featuring 3-D desserts. This section has pictures of cakes shaped like dinosaurs, robots and dollhouses. New products in this yearbook include the Wall-E cake pan, Wall-E cake toppers, a giant cupcake cake pan and footed silicone baking cups. There are also many classic cake ideas such as teddy bear, flower and dinosaur cakes. The yearbook includes cake, cupcake and cookie ideas for occasions such as holidays, birthdays, graduations, baby showers and weddings. The yearbook is essentially a catalog of Wilton cake decorating products. Although the yearbook has numerous cake ideas, there are even more products and ideas on the Wilton website. For instance, there is a larger variety of Sesame Street and Disney cake pans on the website. The yearbook only depicts the newest and most popular party themes. It is not a complete catalog of all Wilton products. The yearbook has countless pictures of cakes. Along with each picture, there is a list of pans, tools, decorations, recipe names and instructions for creating the cake. The list is basically a shopping list for everything you need to bake the desired cake along with the instructions describing how to assemble and decorate the cake. The accompanying instructions are relatively easy to follow depending on the experience of the baker. (Beginners may need to learn and practice basic cake decorating techniques.) There are also sections in the yearbook focusing on recipes (icing, cookies, cheesecake, fondant, etc.), cake decorating tips and cake cutting guides. I like the Tip Techniques section. This section demonstrates how to use a variety of cake decorating tips with pictures and instructions. There are similar sections called Flower-Making Techniques, Fondant/Gum Paste Techniques and Candy Making Techniques.
